Women’s Rights

Women’s rights refer to the social, legal, and economic rights and entitlements that should be granted to women, advocating for equality and equity between the sexes. This encompasses a broad range of issues, including the right to vote, access to education, equal pay for equal work, reproductive rights, freedom from violence and discrimination, and the right to participate fully in social, political, and economic life. Women’s rights aim to address and rectify historical and systemic inequalities faced by women and promote their empowerment in various spheres of life. The movement for women’s rights seeks to challenge and change societal norms and legal structures that perpetuate gender-based discrimination and injustice.
